• Recommended for use between 25cm to 30cm a • way from basking surface.
• UVC Output of fan heat light units (all wattages, without wire mesh cap) at 30cm is between 0 to 1 microwatts per cm2. With wire grill cap on as a complete unit, the UVC output is ZERO. (As a comparison, according to testing performed using a UVC meter, direct sunlight gives a reading of 2 microwatts per cm2.)
• Not recommended for use in enclosures smaller than 40cm wide x 30cm deep x 35cm high.
• Not recommended for use with amphibians (frogs) or hatchlings as the additional air movement created by the fan may remove the moisture from the air which frogs require in order to keep their skin moist.
